All orders for UK are subject to VAT @20%. This is included in the prices shown. You will recieve a VAT total in the shopping cart when checking out. Orders shipped outside EU are VAT free but there may be taxes to pay upon import into your country.

Our UK Courier delivery service is provided by DPD Local for £6.99 and DHL for £7.99. You can choose your preference on checkout but there may only be one option in certain areas or with certain items in your basket.

* Large items, Liquids and Aerosols can't be sent via Royal Mail or DHL, so will be despatched on the equivalent DPD rate. Royal Mail 2nd Class has a weight limit of 2kg.

Once you have received an email confirmation to say your order has been despatched, you should receive your order the next working day.  Orders sent on a Friday will be delivered on a Monday – except Bank Holidays.

Orders received by us after 4pm on Friday, or over the weekend, will be shipped on the following Monday.

IMPORTANT UK POSTCODE EXCEPTIONS

Customers in the following DPD derived locations cannot be shipped on a Next Day service, and instead go via DPD on a 2 day service at an addtional cost determined by your shopping cart value and weight:

  • Isle of Man 
  • Scottish Islands (HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3)

NEXT DAY DELIVERY

Orders must be placed by 4pm, Monday - Friday to ensure next working day delivery. We will send your order using your chosen DPD or DHL Tracked service. With DPD you will be able to leave instructions if you would like your parcel left in a safe place.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY EXCEPTIONS

Orders placed after 4pm will arrive the second working day. Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday or a Bank Holiday will arrive the second working day. There are no deliveries on Bank Holidays. Delivery times and dates are subject to our service provider DPD & DHL. If you live in a Northern Ireland, highland, island or rural postcode, Next Day Delivery is not available and Standard Delivery may be subject to an additional 1-2 delivery days. 

ORDER TRACKING

You can track your parcel online via the DPD or DHL website.

A signature will be required on receipt of the goods. Alternatively, if you are unable to sign for the goods, the driver will leave a calling card with details of the phone number to call to arrange another delivery time.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Tracking your delivery with DHL:

Orders where express delivery is chosen are sent using DHL Express. Almost all global destinations are reached within a 1-2 day transit time (Australia 3 days).

IMPORTANT NOTES

Cut off time for shipping on a same day is 4pm (GMT).

The indicated delivery times are general time frames. No refund for shipping fees can be made on orders delivered later than the estimated delivery times.

Large or heavy items may take additional time to be delivered.  

CUSTOMS FEES AND IMPORT TAXES

Customs fees and taxes for international shipments might be a subject to duties fees and taxes once the shipment reaches your country.

Car Builder Solutions cannot control or predict these charges, it is the client's responsibility to pay any additional charges for customs clearance.

In the case you refuse to receive the order because of the unexpected additional fees, or we receive your parcel back due to the fees not being paid, Car Builder Solutions reserves the right to charge you both depart and return shipment costs as well as the additional fees generated by the customs.

ORDER TRACKING

You will receive a tracking e-mail with your shipping number and link to the DHL tracking website, with options to sign up to e-mail or text notifications on your order’s process.

On Demand Delivery (ODD) 

Express customers are provided with an estimated date of delivery within one hour of your order being collected by DHL, and you can choose how you wish to receive your delivery, with options including;

  •        Reschedule for another day
  •        Leave with a neighbour
  •        Leave in a safe place
  •        Deliver to a DHL Service Point (45,000 locations worldwide)
  •        Deliver to an alternate address
  •        Hold until you return from vacation

In addition orders under 2kg will be offered Signed-for Airmail. This is generally a reliable service but can be slow and far reach can take up to 3 weeks
for delivery.

NOTE: We cannot ship Aerosols/Pressurised containers outside the EU. EU Shipments will be via courier and can involve high costs. Please contact us for a quote before placing your order.

We cannot be held responsible for delays with deliveries as they may be out of our immediate control. We will try and keep you informed of any delays to our delivery services.

DELIVERY, DAMAGED GOODS and SHORTAGE CLAIMS

When you sign for a parcel, please inspect it carefully. If it has suffered damage in transit, you must mark the delivery note ‘Parcel Damaged’, before signing, or even refuse delivery in serious cases.

We do of course pack our products carefully to help avoid any problems. Some deliveries involve more than one parcel - please check that all parcels have been received when signing for the delivery.

RETURNS

We offer a 30-day return policy for all products. This means you have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

Return Conditions:

  • Defective Products: If you receive a defective product, we will provide a full refund, including the original shipping costs, and a prepaid return label. The product must be returned in the condition it was received.
  • General Returns: For general returns (e.g., the product doesn't fit or you changed your mind), the product must be returned in new and unused condition with all original packaging and tags attached. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
  • Buyer's Remorse: We understand that sometimes you may change your mind about a purchase. You can return items for any reason within 30 days of receipt. The product must be returned in new and unused condition with all original packaging and tags attached. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.

Restocking Fees:

  • There are no restocking fees for defective products.
  • There are no restocking fees for general returns or buyer's remorse.

Return Process:

  1. Contact Customer Support: To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team at returns@carbuilder.com or by phone at 01580891309.

  2. Provide Order Information: Be prepared to provide your order number and reason for the return.

  3. Receive Return Label (if applicable): For defective products, we will provide you with a prepaid return label via email. For general returns and buyer's remorse, you are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping.

  4. Package Your Return: Securely package the product in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation.

  5. Ship Your Return: Ship the package to the following address:

  6. Refund Processing: Once we receive your return, we will inspect the product. If the return meets the conditions outlined above, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days.

Timeframes:

  • Return Request: You must request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Return Shipment: You must ship the product back to us within 14 days of receiving the return label (for defective products) or within 14 days of requesting the return (for general returns and buyer's remorse).
  • Refund Processing: We will process your refund within 14 business days of receiving your returned product.

  • This return policy applies only to purchases made through www.carbuilder.com.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product does not meet the return conditions outlined above.
