This relay will replace a standard, 12 volt, six-pin wiper relay and allow you to set
the wiper’s intermittent function time between 0.5 and 45 seconds just by switching the
wiper stalk between ‘intermittent’ and ‘off’ modes according to the instructions included.
Maximum current 6 Amps.
CONNECTIONS
Terminal 15 -+12 Live supply to the relay
Terminal 31 - Earth
Terminal S - Feed from relay to wiper motor. Connect to slow speed.
Terminal 31b -Switched live from slow speed on wiper switch
Small Terminal - This controls intermittent wipers. 12v switched live.
INSTRUCTIONS
To set the intermittent time period, first Turn on the wipers.
Wipers will sweep once.
Turn off.
Now, the length of time before you turn the switch back on will be the continuing intermittent delay.
i.e. Wait 3 seconds before you turn it back on and the wipers will sweep every 3 seconds.
