I have a Morgan with a vinyl soft top which leaks through the stitching. I have tried all sorts of suggestions to no avail. I saw this sealant/adhesive in CBS and bought some, diluted with thinners and after masking painted it over the seams. It has cured but stays flexible and the drips through the roof have stopped. It is virtually undetectable. Excellent.

Excellent stuff for bonding, sealing, etc. and extremely strong, available in black or white.
I have used it for bonding alloy to fibreglass panels, sealing wing to headlamp bowls etc. etc. If a strong bond is required it is much better than Silicone RTV, also it can be painted. I have even used it to securely refit the handle to my wife's silicone handled spatula, when nothing else worked.
Care should be taken to avoid getting it on clothing etc, as it won't come off! If you get it on your hands it can be cleaned off with cellulose thinners, but it is best to wear disposable gloves.
The cartridge lasts a long time if a bead of adhesive is left protruding from the nozzle, which can be pulled off for the next use.
Every workshop needs one of these!

Probably the most adaptable budget conscious sealant available to the home builder. Having used this type of product for many years I have learned that you need to be methodical. Firstly have a pan of hot water available especially on cooler days. Warm the cartridge up thoroughly and you can extrude the contents  using a sealant gun with ease. Don`t warm it up and you run the risk  of bursting the cartridge disc out of alignment. When you have the job firmly in mind go about applying it methodically  and keep hands, clothing etc well away from the sealant runs and cartridge nozzle. Get this stuff on hands and clothing and it will be everywhere. (It will clean off your hands tools etc with cellulose thinners). If it`s a long job reheat the cartridge every 5 minutes or so. The sealant is excellent and I thoroughly recommend it`s use. Body to chassis. Window frames. Panel joints etc etc. If you have any left over remove the cartridge nozzle. Put a latex glove over cartridge nozzle. Screw the nozzle back on firmly and it should be re-usable for several months. If it solidifies just cut across cartridge to retrieve the contents below the solidified section using a spatula.

This product is excellent and has many uses in addition to holding/sealing car body trim.
It is waterproof and strong once set  I use it to bond filler panels under the wheel arches and saddle clips under the dash to secure wring runs in place neatly.
I even used it to secure a piece of car inner tube to my preformed pond which I had cracked lifting into place. I t has been holding water for over a year now and still seems as good as the day I did the repair

Excellent product. Used it for fixing preformed trim to my windscreen frame, and used surplus to repair/strengthen a socket set tray. It sets firm but flexible.
I intend to use it for sticking the door glass into the steel window winder bracket. It should do the job nicely.
