Designed to crimp old fashioned 4.7mm (3/16") Lucas type brass bullet connectors as found on nearly all British classic cars and motorcycles.
Just strip of 1/4" of insulation and slide the wire into the terminal so that the copper reaches the end.
When you insert the terminal into the tool it automatically locates in the correct position.
Squeeze together the handles and you have an even, flat crimp on both sides of the terminal.
For extra reliability you can also run some solder into the end of the terminal.
