I had some trepidation about using this (and the associated brake unions) but the video was a great help. I used a slitting disc on an angle grinder to cut the hose. I'd recommend putting the nut on the hose before cutting and a small flat head screwdriver to pare the braid back from the PTFE. Making the first one was a bit laboured but after that I made up my brake lines in double quick time with very little difficulty.

I purchased 3 metres of this brake pipe along with various different fittings to make all the flexible brake hoses on a VW trike I am rebuilding. Very easy to work with all you need to do is watch the video and you are away good instruction and excellent price.
