Having pulled the choke cable out of the dashboard of my Cortina and discovered that the inner cable was frayed and the outer had a blockage, I needed a simple, cheap and quick way to get the car back to full fighting fitness. Enter CBS and this Black Choke Cable Locking 1.5 Metre Long.

The cable was super-easy to fit. OK, I had to ditch the chrome bezel that had adored the original, but otherwise it was a straight replacement. Even the symbol on the knob was not too far off the original. I'm only marking it down (slightly) because the symbol/sticker on the knob wasn't straight - and I'm a pedant!
