This is an impressive lamp considering the low cost. When this lamp has power to it you simply touch the on\off button and the button glows blue and the lamp illuminates. Touch the button again and it goes off. (You need to be aware it cannot be turned on and off via a remote switch). It is suprisingly bright when on and the metal backing acts as a heatsink. All in all recommended.
